“Painted intuitively, A Place I Almost Remember revealed itself gradually through many layers of colour, texture and marks. With no set destination, I let each layer guide the next, allowing details to emerge and traces of earlier marks to remain. As the landscape took shape, it began to feel familiar - a place I thought I knew, but couldn’t quite name. Guided by memory and emotion, the painting captures that fleeting sense of recognition, somewhere between a place once visited and one imagined.”
