Original Painting
Acrylic on canvas
Natural oak float frame
141 × 109cm
“Ghost Gums in Reflection III continues my exploration of ghost gums reflecting in water, inspired by travels through the Red Centre and the West MacDonnell Ranges. The work observes the interplay of light, colour and movement as the landscape shifts across the water’s surface - looking down to see what lies above. Loosely painted from memory, the reflection becomes a landscape of its own, suspended somewhere between observation and abstraction.”
